Tenant Questionnaire – Important Information

Thank you for your interest in renting a property through Sodhis. Before we can proceed with your application, it is essential that this questionnaire is completed accurately, honestly, and in full. The information you provide will be used as the basis of your tenancy application and will be verified during our referencing process. Please take your time to answer every question carefully, ensuring that all details provided are correct and up to date.

Any incorrect, misleading, incomplete, or false information may result in delays to your application, failure of referencing, or your application being declined. Please note that we carry out comprehensive tenant referencing, including identity verification, employment and income checks, previous landlord references, credit history, Right to Rent checks (where applicable), affordability assessments, and fraud prevention checks.

As part of the application process, a holding deposit may be requested before referencing commences. Referencing incurs costs for both ourselves and the landlord. If you knowingly provide false or misleading information, fail to disclose relevant information, or deliberately answer any questions incorrectly, you may forfeit your holding deposit in accordance with the Tenant Fees Act 2019 and the agreed terms of your application.

We strongly encourage all applicants to be completely transparent from the outset. If you are unsure about any question or if your circumstances require further explanation, please contact us before submitting your questionnaire. Honest disclosure allows us to discuss your situation with the landlord and provide the best possible advice, whereas inaccurate information may prevent us from progressing your application.

By submitting this questionnaire, you confirm that the information provided is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge, and you understand that all information supplied may be verified with relevant third parties during the referencing process.
